QA Automation Engineer

Job Description Our client, a leader in the Electrical/Electronic Manufacturing industry, is looking to hire a QA Automation Engineer on a contract basis.

They develop systems that monitor cities (traffic, lights, recognition of cars, people, pets).

In the systems there are cameras and sensors to detect and analyze the data of the city.

The project is to test different systems that are built.

Responsibilities include: Get the requirement from the systems engineer and architect and create a test strategy that ensures requirements are respected and the coverage of test is optimal.

Create the test protocols and the scenarios then execute the test plans and case.

Create the report and related it back to the stakeholders and explain in detail.

Find ways of automating the tests while doing them or ahead to ensure efficiency.

Ensure scalability of the automation and testing strategy.

They use Java and selenium and the tests are mainly done on UI technologies that communicate via API and communication protocols to different devices.
